i listen to a whole lot of music, and absolutely adore talking all about it!!! i've attempted to organize what I listen to in terms of genre... my fav artists are bolded!!

glitchbreak, mashcore, breakcore, hardcore

classic crazy experimental electronic music. i really like fast songs with intense bass and rhythm ^u^ this is what i'm listening to 90% of the time

[DJ Myosuke, t+pazolite, purity filter, nanoray, golemm, novocain, kaizo slumber, prodigy, femtanyl, S3RL, akiba, igorrr, knifehandchop]

hyperpop, dariacore, synthpunk

high energy synth heavy remixed music. honestly theres so much variety in this genre in particular it's difficult to describe!! but i lean more towards hardcore stuff here too :P

[frost children, underscores, 100 gecs, recovery girl, c0ncernn, dashie, the hellp, six impala, mimideath, trust fund ozu, cake pop]

swancore, punk, prog rock

more relaxed, but still intense and extremely sentimental/emotional. this is the stuff i'll always return to lolol

[hail the sun, i met a yeti, loathe, newgrounds death rugby, fail better heal faster]

shoegaze, dream pop, lofi indie, etherpop

i don't listen to this kind of stuff nearly as much anymore... but it still has a home in my heart!!! really good stuff for when i want to look normal but not too normal

[alex g, candy claws, feeble little horse, imogen heap, ricky eat acid, tv girl]

etc.

there's a lot of other stuff i like too! i really enjoy long experimental/industrial songs (like 20+ min, Godspeed you! Black Emperor and Current 93), experimental rap (JPEGMAFIA and MF DOOM), japanese jazz (Mellow Yellow, Masayoshi Takanaka), and vocaloid/vocasynth!!!
